ACLU Restore America Poster Design Contest Deadline: March 01, 2009 The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is hosting a Restore America Poster Design Competition. Designers need to "design a poster that depicts the transformation of America into a country that holds its leaders accountable; that strives to restore eroded civil liberties; that works to change policies that are unconstitutional". The winner will receive a cash prize, and will have their design featured as part of the ACLU's national campaign. Your design needs to be 11” x 17” (or 17” x 11”), JPG or PDF less than 3 MB.

PRINT's Regional Design Annual (PRINT Magazine - USA) Deadline: March 2, 2009 Represents the best design, illustrations, and photography being produced throughout the United States, this is the most comprehensive survey of graphic design in the United States-and one of the biggest issues to hit the graphic design industry each year. Handmade Graphics (Rotovision - UK) Deadline: March 2, 2009 Requires description of the project, including the materials and methods used to create the design as well as the inspiration behind the design, together with print-quality images including hi-resolution photography of the design in context [if it is available].

Scion Presents: the Freshly Squeezed Web Design Challenge Deadline: April 10, 2009 The website design competition will benefit J.U.i.C.E., a non-profit weekly after-school program that allows the underprivileged youth of Los Angeles to express themselves artistically through dance, music, visual arts, and MC skills workshops.
